In Bahrain, those who do not employ locals will be fined

Bahraini people who refuse jobs will have to pay a fine of 20,000 dinars

Bahrain has decided to take strict action against companies that do not provide jobs to locals. Bahrain's parliamentary committee will soon pass a bill that would make it possible to give more jobs to locals in the country, and to those who would be reluctant to employ Bahrainis. There will be heavy fines.

According to the bill, companies and business owners will be required to hire locals instead of foreigners. In order to reduce the unemployment rate among the local people. Once the law is passed, the owners of Bahraini companies and businesses will check the records of job-seeking Bahraini youth and select the most suitable and talented candidate from among them.

Those who do not comply will be fined a minimum of 5,000 Bahraini dinars and a maximum of 20,000 Bahraini dinars. However, the Bahraini Ministry of Labor and Social Development says the bill should be considered, as it is not possible for company owners to check the records of registered job seekers. There are many jobs in Bahrain where foreigners work for very low wages.

Bahrainis are not interested in them because of their low salaries. Therefore, it will not be possible to employ Bahrainis in all sectors. It should be noted that out of Bahrain's population of 1.7 million, more than half are foreign workers. The number of foreigners in Bahrain has been reduced over the past two years.
