President Trump will not have to move his luggage to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue immediately because there are some things that have yet to happen.

It takes place at an event in the capital, Washington, DC. The new president and vice president take the oath of office. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court takes this oath from him.
So it is expected that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn in on January 20.
