Nazar Mohammad had the unique honor of scoring Pakistan's first Test century in Lucknow and remained unbeaten till the end of the innings with 124 runs.

Interestingly, 30 years later, his son Mudassar Nazar also scored 152 runs in the Lahore Test against India and he too was unbeaten from the start to the end of the innings.

In the Lucknow Test, if the winning script started with Nazar Mohammad's century, it was Fazal Mahmood who completed it, scoring 52 runs in the first innings and taking seven wickets for 42 runs in the second innings.
